As a secular hip-hop artist, David Byrd was on his way. He was touring across the country, working with Billboard artists, charting singles at #1 on college radio, and raking in millions of views for his videos across the digital space… He felt like he was the unhappiest man alive. That’s where God found him.
Since turning away from the world and his secular ambitions, Psalm has been putting his talents to good use. His music has seen rotation on over 50 FM radio stations across the world, has been featured on popular releases such as The Rock & Worship Road Show Album and JesusFreakHideOut’s 2017 & 2018 Hip Hop Samplers. His debut LP Covenant was a Top 10 Staff Pick for JFH in 2017.
Since founding Ministry Muzik in 2016, Psalm has toured across the country, and has worked and performed with popular CHH artists such as Canton Jones, Bryann Trejo, Hawk Nelson, Mike Bone, Ryan Stevenson, KJ52, Sidewalk Prophets, Pyrexx, Supaman, Marz, Seckond Chaynce, Young Bro, Triple Thr33, NAK and more.
Psalm recently released his sophomore LP, Deathproof, and is excited about the team God is putting together in preparation for his next project.
